Our story
I'm Gary Linehan, and I've been working as an electrician since I was 17; that's 20 years in the trade. Over that time I've done everything from changing a light switch in a one-bed flat to installing LV panel boards in huge warehouses.
I built Linehan Mechanical & Electrical Ltd, trading as Linehan Electrical, on doing the job properly, turning up when I say I will, and leaving every property clean and tidy. Based in Stevenage, my team and I now work across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and London. Danielle is co-owner of the business.
We're trusted by commercial and domestic clients alike. A core team that scales up for larger projects; we've run crews of over 25 on major works. Alongside our electrical work we also offer mechanical, plumbing and associated works.
I'd rather let my work and my reviews do the talking.
Mission and standards
How we work on every job
Do the job properly
Work is carried out to the standard expected of an NICEIC Approved Contractor, and tested before we leave.
Turn up when we say
Punctual and reliable is the theme customers mention again and again in their reviews.
Leave it clean and tidy
We treat your home or site as if it were our own, and tidy up after ourselves.
Explain everything clearly
You'll know what needs doing and why before any work starts.
Guarantee the work
All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Equipment also carries the manufacturer's own warranty, which varies by product; for example, Vent-Axia fans may carry up to 7 years and Hager fuseboards 1 year.
Fair, clear pricing
Every job is quoted free. Small jobs are usually priced from photos; larger jobs need a site visit.
